The purpose-built Darwin Building is currently undergoing an extensive full refurbishment programme and will be available for occupation from Summer 2026.

The building totals 21,473 sq ft (1,995 sq m) and is arranged over ground and first floors with a second-floor plant loft. The design allows the building to be split into two separate units of 10,785 sq ft (1,002 sq m) and 10,688 sq ft (993 sq m) respectively. The building could also be taken as a whole to provide 21,473 sq ft (1,995 sq m) of fitted laboratory and write-up space.
