Employees reunite at Chesterford Research Park

Leasing R&D experts with more than 350 years of combined experience gathered together recently for a reunion of past and present employees at Chesterford Research Park.

50 people, some of whom were involved with the park more than 40 years ago, joined Chesterford’s developer Martin Sylvester of Churchmanor Estates plc and Park Manager, Katherine Maguire, who spearheaded the reunion, for lunch and a tour of the new facilities. Don Simpson of BioFocus DPI began working at Chesterford Research Park in 1974. He said “it is a fantastic place to work, and we have all have so many fond memories, so this reunion provided us with the chance to catch up and reminisce with friends and former colleagues.

The biggest change for those visiting the park was clearly seeing the new buildings and facilities that have sprung up on site in the last few years. With their intelligent design they will continue to foster meaningful interactions, and are a huge asset to the community here”.

Martin Sylvester of Churchmanor Estates plc, added; “The response to the reunion has been tremendous and highlights Chesterford’s unrivalled working environment.

“It has proved to be a major factor in terms of our tenant’s ability to recruit and retain the best staff along with our outstanding support services which are key to productivity and help to create a stimulating environment that meets the lifestyle requirements of the park’s unity.
