GLOBAL GLASS MANUFACTURER MOVES
TO CHESTERFORD RESEARCH PARK

Glassworks International Ltd, a global
glass manufacturer, which has been producing high quality
glass products for over 60 years, has taken Suite12 at Chesterford
Research Park’s Mansion House.
Glassworks joins a number of organisations,
including Cellcentric and Cambridge Healthcare & Biotech
that have recently moved to the park to take advantage of
its flexible space and to be part of a growing scientific
community.
The Mansion House is an imposing period
building that offers views over the arboretum at Chesterford
Research Park, combined with exceptional on-site management
and security provision.
Paul Morgan, Managing Director, at Glassworks
said: “We believe that Chesterford offers a fantastic location
with state-of-the-art facilities, such as the convenient
gym and restaurant based at the hub of the Park known as
The Nucleus.”
The Mansion House has been totally refurbished by Chesterford
Research Park’s developers Churchmanor Estates Plc and Morley
Fund Management, after they felt the number and varying size
of the individual rooms in the 19th century property would
be ideal to meet demand from start up or associated companies.
Martin Sylvester, Director at the Churchmanor
Estates Plc comments: “At Chesterford we feel it’s important
to offer a broad range of accommodation with associated facilities
and to make provision for a range of companies at varying
stages of development. The letting of the Mansion House is
progressing well and we are delighted to welcome Glassworks
to the Park.”
Units in the Mansion House are available
to companies looking for smaller office suites on flexible
leases. Tenants will also benefit from the unrivalled facilities
provided at Chesterford, including the gymnasium, health
suite, 7 hole par three golf course, shop, restaurant, chauffer
driven transport, coffee and social bar. Unit sizes range
from 342 sq ft to 1,869 sq ft, although these can be combined
to form larger suites to suit individual requirements.
This latest news closely follows the announcement
that Illumina Inc, one of the World’s leading developers,
manufacturers and marketers of next generation life-science
tools and integrated systems, is establishing its new European
headquarters at Chesterford.
