The Caribbean Comes to The Nucleus
On Friday 13th October, The Nucleus hosted a Caribbean Themed Evening in aid of the Little Chesterford Church Roof appeal. The Nucleus Restaurant and Bar were decorated with palm trees, parrots, lanterns and a beachscape mural. With the tables dressed in yellow and orange the scene was set for the Caribbean Buffet.
Attended by one hundred local residents, the Auction of Promises raised over £4,500. Items auctioned included, a day's Shooting at a local farm, a day with a Steam Engine, Wine, Hampers and Vouchers for use at local businesses. Two excellent bids were received for a month's membership in The Nucleus Gym - £75 and a table for 4 in The Nucleus Restaurant - £185. We look forward to welcoming the lucky "bidders" to The Nucleus in the near future.
The evening was a huge success, with many favourable and appreciative comments coming from those who organised and attended the event
