What is the Travel Plan?
The Travel Plan is a package of measures designed to improve the quality of
commuting and business travel for all employees and visitors at Chesterford Research
Park. It comprises initiatives to promote greener, cleaner travel choices through
the utilisation of existing transport options such as public transport, cycling
and walking combined with other new initiatives.
The Travel Plan is an ongoing dynamic process to ease your journeys while bringing
benefits to the environment. The Plan is not anti-car and does not expect you
to dismiss the car altogether. It will, however, encourage you to consider alternative
forms of transport or, whenever possible, to sensibly regulate single occupancy
car travel.
